Применение 0,05% крема алклометазона дипропионата в терапии атопического дерматита у детей раннего возраста

2004
The aim of this open noncomparative study was to assess the efficacy and safety of application of the 0.05% alclomethasone dipropionate cream in 39 children aged from 0 to 24 months, suffering from atopic dermatitis (AD). In 20 children, AD had a severe course and in 19 it was moderate. The period of study was 35 days and included 5 outpatient examinations with the 7-day intervals. The therapeutic efficacy was assessed by the results of the changing SCORAD index. The duration of application of the cream was 15.3 days, on the average. The SCORAD index at the moment of primary examination was 43.04 points, while by the end of the investigation it was 9.2 points (decrease by 80.9%). Tolerance of the cream by the children was good, no side effects were registered. Therefore, the Afloderm cream is an effective and safe preparation for treatment of AD in infants and its use permits to obtain a remission of the disease in the majority of patients.
