Non-destructive dispersion-zero measurements along an optical fibre

A non-destructive, four-photon-mixing-based technique to measure the dispersion zero at locations inside a spool of fibre is described. The technique achieved a position resolution of 1 km and a wavelength accuracy of /spl sim/0.2 nm.
