An Analysis of One-Body Densities of Three-Body Systems Based on Symmetry*

A three-identical particle model system with the spatial wavefunction being all-symmetric has been proposed to calculate the one-body densities. All states with even or odd parity are involved in the calculation. The emphasis is placed on exploring the physics underlying the features of the densities. It is shown that the quantum mechanical symmetry plays an essential role in determining the features.
