Observation of clinical efficacy of Xiyanping combined with chimonanthus nitens leaf particles in treatment of children with hand-foot-mouth disease(ordinary type)

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Xiyanping combined with Chimonanthus nitens leaf particles in the treatment of children with hand-foot-mouth disease(ordinary type). Methods 120 children with ordinary hand-foot-mouth disease treated in our hospital were divided into the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group received Xiyanping combined with Chimonanthus nitens leaf particles for treatment and the control group received intramuscular injection of single Xiyanping for treatment. The clinical treatment effects and other indicators of the two groups of children were compared. Results The total effective rate(93.3%) of the treatment group was significantly higher than 78.3% of the control group(P 0.05). Conclusion Xiyanping combined with Chimonanthus nitens leaf particles shows good efficacy in the treatment of children with ordinary hand-foot-mouth disease and therefore is worthy of clinical promotion.
