According to representations of the deformation mechanism for alloys with solid inclusions, the particles can be an obstacle to shear development. It has been shown in (1) that cermet alloys are hardened because of shock loading. Various hardening schemes were used in experiments: plane and oblique shocks from the explosion of diverse high explosives, and hardening by a cylindrical shock in separate cases.
