The use of the semiprogrammed workbook as a self-learning device in teaching reproductive biology

Abstract The ability of a group of freshman and junior medical students to learn human cytogenetics using a semiprogrammed workbook was measured and the results compared with student reading ability (vocabulary and comprehension) as measured by the Nelson-Denny reading test.
