Jimson weed (Datura stramonium) poisoning in childhood

Summary Jimson weed intoxication is not an uncommon cause of poisoning in children. The signs, symptoms, and treatment are discussed and a rough estimate of the fatal dose is made. Seven cases of Jimson weed intoxication are reported.
