“Impact of COVID-19 on Mobile Banking Services”

COVID-19 is a global challenge to safeguard human life. It is impelling on the global financial health as faster as its spreading. India is also one of the countries facing issue of COVID-19. This has made circulation of currencies of different denomination to come down. It is an alarm to accept mobile banking services. The present study is made by accepting responses from customers of mobile banking services in Bengaluru city. To study the demographic profile of respondents and impact of COVID-19 on mobile banking services were objectives of the study. Structured questionnaire has been used with the help of Google form to collect the data. Primary data have been collected from 80 respondents out of 120 administered. Frequencies, Simple percentage, mean, standard deviation and one sample t-test have been used to analyse the data and draw the conclusion. The study has accepted alternative hypothesis stating, “There is impact of COVID-19 on mobile banking services” as p-value of all the variables stood less than 0.05. It is concluded that technology has a tool called Mobile Banking Services for all the payment and receipt transactions to maintain social distance and stay safe during COVID-19.
