2021
Rural youths face several barriers to constitute their paths of social insertion and, in the search for overcoming these limitations, they organize themselves into social movements, composing the political field of youths. The aim of the study, from which this article results, was to apprehend how the guidelines around education and work are elaborated and placed by rural youths that integrate the organized movements in Brazil. To this end, a documentary research was carried out that took as source primary and secondary documents (linked to several entities and organizations), which refer to discussions and deliberations of national events related to the political organization of rural youths, between the years 2007 and 2016. In the claims, the centrality of the struggle for public policies that guarantee access to school and decent work is highlighted, as well as the marks of these people for more autonomy for the daily production of their lives. The theme of Rural Succession comes up strongly, having the democratization of the land as its core issue, together with the financial and assistance conditions for staying in the countryside, also passing through the democratization of decent work, school education, cultural recognition and promotion of family farming.
