Underlying surface remote sensing optimal algorithms and accuracy by proper radiation

1993
For dissipated surfaces investigated by means of remote sensing (RS) with the help of active and passive radar systems the determination of the experimental conditions providing the best qualitative measurement results becomes necessary. A solution is given for a number of surface conditions and electrodynamic parameters estimation identity problems where the latter ones are functionally connected with signal models received in the given polarization basis by the solution of electrodynamic direct problems. The algorithms and accuracy of the optimal parameters estimation of the proper radiation surface electrodynamic models were found by maximum likelihood function. Here the mathematic thermodynamic temperature dependencies on the desired parameters for the flat small-scale, large-scale and two-scale surface approaching small perturbation and Kirhof approximations are used.
