Design of Multiphase Inverter System for Variable-Speed Applications Based on DSP and FPGA

Multiphase inverters have many beneficial features, such as higher reliability, greater efficiency and so on. High-speed sampling rate and multiple interfaces are necessary for multiphase inverter applications. In order to utilize the advantages of the flexibility and strong parallel computing capabilities of field-programmable gate array (FPGA). A system of multiphase inverter based on digital signal processor (DSP) and FPGA is presented in this paper for variable-speed applications. Simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the system presented.
