대학신입생들의 영어글쓰기에 나타난 영문법 사용의 오류에 대한 연구

English writing has always been a knotty subject for EFL learners. As a vital skill, it needs to receive more attention. Therefore, analyzing EFL learner’s errors in their writings can be a great help for teachers to become aware of the sources and types of these errors and employ more efficient teaching methods so that EFL learners can better acquire English writing skills. The primary goal of this study is find out common errors made by university students in the use of English grammar and to identify the major causes of their occurrence. For the purpose of this study, 30 students of CNUE students were selected. Those 30 students were all enrolled in the first year and received 2 hours of Current English instruction per week during the academic year. In this paper, four categories of grammatical errors were analyzed. The results obtained in this research study revealed that 42.4% of the errors made in English writings were morphological errors.
