Formes et impacts de la territorialisation des politiques touristiques Le cas de l’Ardèche méridionale

This article focuses on the territorialization of tourism policies in a French Mediterranean hinterland, southern Ardeche. It highlights the diversity of territorial forms of these tourism policies. It questions how actors are articulated in the valorization of a common heritage, the Chauvet Cave discovered in 1994. The emergence of a new form of territorialization is discussed through the notion of territorial design. The article sheds light on the ongoing territorial transitions from the tourist, residential and recreational fields.
