Responsive graphical user interface (ReGUI) and its implementation in MATLAB

In this paper the responsive graphical user interface (ReGUI) approach to creating applications is introduced, and the requirements to the ReGUI applications are defined. Implementation of the ReGUI approach is outlined and illustrated on a sample application developed in MATLAB for supporting teaching of extrema of the functions of two variables. The same general technique can be used in other programming languages. The code and the demonstration video are available through the MATLAB Central File Exchange.
