Photopromoted carbonylation of olefins with carbon dioxide and labelling studies with (CO2)-C-13 and (CH3OH)-C-13

2003
Photopromoted carbonylation of olefins with carbon dioxide can be completed in ambient conditions (room temperatures and atmospheric pressure) by co(oac)(2) catalysis. it was found that in carbonyl carbons of methyl ester of aliphatic acid 50% is from co2 and the other 50% from ch3oh by labelling experimental with (co2)-c-13 and (ch3oh)-c-13.
