Metal-organic-framework-derived CoP nanoparticles-embedded into carbon nanocages for high-performance lithium-ion battery

Abstract CoP nanoparticles embedded into N-doped carbon nanotube nanocages are synthesized by the calcination of the core-shell metal organic framework and subsequent vapour-phase phosphorization. The as-prepared composite shows an outstanding electrochemical property (1107 mA h g-1 at 0.05 A g-1) and robust life. The outstanding properties are ascribed to the hollow structure and N-doped carbon framework.
