Preparation and separation of ethyl oleate from oil-tea camellia seed oil by molecular distillation

Fatty acid ethyl ester of oil-tea camellia seed oil obtained by transesterification was used as a raw material to separate ethyl oleate by molecular distillation(MD).The influences of the main parameters of MD on separation process were investigated by orthogonal tests.The results showed that the average content of ethyl oleate in heavy fraction was 88.3%,and the recovery was 64.6% under the condition of distillation temperature 100℃,distillation pressure 10 Pa,feed rate 150 mL/h and wiped film speed 180 r/min.The content of ethyl oleate in light fraction was 91.3%,and the total recovery was 50.6% after double-stage MD.The obtained ethyl oleate could meet the indicators of Chinese pharmacopoeia 2010.
