Appling Optimum Vector and Genetic Arithmetic to Structural System Optimization Based on Reliability

The optimum vector optimization method is given based on the grads of objective and restriction function,the method has strong local searching capability and good convergence.The mixed optimization method is established combining global searching capability of the genetic arithmetic and local searching capability of the optimum vector optimization method.The mixed optimization method combines the characteristic of two-optimization method and makes reinforce of searching capability and reform the weakness of each method.A numerical example is indicated that the optimization result of the mixed optimization method is better than the optimization result of the optimum vector optimization method or the genetic arithmetic.The method has strong optimization capability and high optimization efficiency.
