The invention provides a polymer hairy sphere, a preparation method and an application thereof, and particularly, relates to the polymer hairy sphere comprising a polymer sphere and polymer nano fibers, wherein the diameter of the polymer sphere is 0.1-50 [mu]m, the diameter of the polymer nano fibers is 10-500 nm, and the length of the polymer nano fibers is 0.005-500 [mu]m. The polymer hairy sphere is used for preparing a high-performance super-hydrophobic material. The invention also provides a simple and low-cost preparation method for the polymer hairy sphere.
