Dehydration of M2+(H2PO4)2·2H2O(M2+=Mg, Co, Fe, Mn, Cd)

Abstract As a part of an investigation of acidic phosphates the thermal dehydration of M 2+ ( H 2 PO 4 ) 2 ·2 H 2 O ( M 2+ = Mg , Co , Fe , Mn , Cd ) has been examined. The results show that the dehydration occurs in several stages in which crystalline phases are formed. X-ray powder data, lattice constants of some phases and their temperature ranges are given.
