Nouveaux hétérocycles organogermaniés polynucléaires à liaison Ge-Pt L2PtGe(Me2)ΣGeMe2 [Σ = N-, O, S, (η-C5H4)2Fe]

New organogermylated polynuclear heterocycles with Ge-Pt Bonds. Linear complexes cis-,trans-(ClMe 2 Ge) 2 PtL 2 (L = PPh 3 1, L 2 = diphos 2) have been isolated and characterized by the oxidative addition of the Ge-Ge bond of ClMe 2 GeGeMe 2 Cl to the Pt(O) complex (PPh 3 ) 2 Pt(C 2 H 4 ). Thermolyses of the complexes probably proceed by reductive elimination and decomposition of the linkage PtL 2 to yield ClMe 2 GePh as the main product. Cyclic complexes Me 2 GeSGe(Me 2 )Pt(diphos) (Σ = S 8; NPh 9; (η-C 5 H 4 ) 2 Fe 10; O 11) have been obtained by reacting 2 with the corresponding alkali derivatives Na 2 S, PhNLi 2 and (η-C 5 H 4 Li) 2 Fe or upon hydrolysis. Various cleavage reactions of the Ge-Pt bonds of these complexes have been observed. With phenylacetylene and methyltriazolinedione, 8-11 lead to double germylation of these unsaturated systems to yield new germylated heterocycles. Compound 2 reacts with triazolinedione affording the monogermylated complex ClMe 2 GePtCl(diphos).
