Patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) frequently also have CAD or other indications for aspirin. We aim to define the efficacy and safety of apixaban in patients with AF who are taking and not taking aspirin. ARISTOTLE included 18,201 patients randomized to apixaban 5 mg twice daily or warfarin.
