On the combined applications of hemabate,oxytocin and misoprostol to treating patients with postpartum hemorrhage

Objective: To discuss the curative effect of hemabate on postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine contractions fatigue.Methods: 90 cases of postpartum hemmorrhage due to contractions fatigue were randomly divided into 2 groups.28 cases in one group were treated with oxytocin and misoprostol(the oxytocin and misoprostol treatment group),another group of 30 cases were with hemabate(the hemabate treatment group) and another group of 32 were with hemabate,oxytocin and misoprostol(the combination treatment group).Data of the 3 groups were collected and statistically tested with analysis of variance.Results: Uterine contraction strengthened in patients in the combination treatment group within 30 minutes,and their hemorrhage reduced greatly compared with that in the oxytocin and misoprostol treatment group and the hemabate treatment group(P0.05);and the time to control bleeding was also shortened more obviously than that of the the oxytocin and misoprostol treatment group and the hemabate treatment group(P0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of hemabate in postpartum hemorrhage due to contractions fatigue is significantly effective,and it can be widely used.
