Differentially expressed miRNAs in retinoblastoma

2013
Abstract MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short non-coding RNA transcripts that have the ability to regulate the expression of target genes, and have been shown to influence the development of various tumors. The purpose of our study is to identify aberrantly expressed miRNAs in retinoblastoma for the discovery of potential therapeutic targets for this disease, and to gain a greater understanding of the mechanisms driving retinoblastoma progression. We report 41 differentially expressed miRNAs ( p p
