Use of organosilicone copolymers as impact

2008
The invention relates to the use of organosilicone copolymers as impact modifiers, characterized in that the copolymers Organisilicon a) one or more polysiloxane units and b)) are one or more vinyl polymer units, and the units a) and b covalently linked to one another so that they form a comb, block or ladder structure; and (meth) acrylate-silicone copolymers with comb, block or ladder structure, obtainable by means of free radical mass or solution polymerization of a) one or more (meth) acrylsaureestern, b) one or more mono- or poly-ethylenically unsaturated polyorganosiloxanes and optionally c) one or more further ethylenically unsaturated monomers with the proviso (proviso) that none of the components a) to c) is selected from the group consisting of substituted ethylenically unsaturated silanes, hydroxy-substituted (meth) acrylate, hydroxy-substituted (meth) acrylamides with alkoxy radicals, amino substituted (meth) acrylate carrying unsaturated carboxylic acids, unsaturated carboxylic anhydrides and polyorganosiloxanes which have radicals having free hydroxyl groups.
