Niveles de resiliencia en jóvenes deportistas de la federación deportiva de manabí

2020
The objective of the research is to compare the levels of sports resilience in young athletes of the young athletes of the Manabi Sports Federation. Using scientific methodology regarding observation, inductive-deductive process and the statistical and field method. With techniques and instruments that validate the application of the SV-RES Test, Observation Records, Entry and Exit Chart (sport, age, resilience level). Population: Athletes between the 18 and 25 years old in 3 categories that were; climbing, chess and boxing. The results address an immediate dimension where resilience in athletes operates according to the disciplines they practice: in the disciplines that require strength, and physical dexterity such as climbing and boxing, the level of the personal resilience is a bit higher because it works objectively with mental concentration, in the face of defeats, beatings and systematic states to which athletes are subjected; in the case of athletes in the chess area, their level of resilience varies due to mental demands and confidence. As a final conclusion the three measured scales (I am, I have and I Can) operate properly on each one. The presence of the professional in psychology must be continuous and methodological in the needs of the athletes.
