Hyrudothepary method in addictology protected by the patent of Ukraine

Hirudotherapy method in addictology, which includes leech application on the patient's body, with direct pre-treatment which consists of local mechanical (manual), local superficial pharmacological (alcohol) and physical (thermal) stimulation of skin microcirculation, is characterized by additional intravenous administration of 1-2 mL of nicotinic acid 1 % solution, and in 1-3 minutes after marked hyperemia of skin, the leech application procedure, according to the formulation appropriate to the patient's  state, is performed.
