A new stoneless Chinese jujube cultivar with high quality and high resistance to fruit cracking 'Xinxing'.

‘Xinxing’,a new excellent stoneless cultivar of Chinese jujube(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.),was selected from‘Jinsi Xiaozao’in Cangzhou.The fruit is oblong cylinder with the average fruit weight of 4.78 g.Soluble solids content reaches 36.5% and the fruits taste sour-sweet.‘Xinxing’is characterized by big stoneless fruit,high resistance to fruit cracking and high stable yield.The fruit ripens in middle-late of September in Cangzhou,which could be used for both table and dehydration.It is suitable to be cultivated in plain jujube production area in Hebei Province.
