Millimeter wave syntheziser for Josephson voltage standard system

In this study, a millimeter wave synthesizer operating between 69–71 GHz has been developed by TUBITAK Marmara Research Center using national sources for Josephson voltage standard (JGS) systems which is already developed at TUBITAK National Metrology Institute (NMI) Voltage Laboratory. Technical specifications of the synthesizer to be used in JGS and the developed synthesizer has been presented. Millimeter wave synthesizer module includes; PLL controlled VCO with control and power unit, ×8 solid state multiplier, band pass filter, variable attenuator, isolators, power amplifier, PIN attenuator and waveguides frequired. The output power and frequency of the millimeter wave synthesizer module in WR-12 waveguide standard is controlled using a computer interface.
