Screening Effects on the In-Medium NN Inelastic Cross Section*

The screening effects on the in-medium cross section have been investigated within a relativistic self-consistent description. We have found that , rather than increases monotonously with the increasing of density, bends down at certain density when the imaginary part of pion self-energy insertion is taken into account.
