Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are an image content display method and mobile terminal, comprising: obtaining a pressure parameter of a press operation of a user, directed at a target image in a hidden-content state; according to the pressure parameter, determining the content display area and content display position of said target image; according to the content display area and content display position, displaying the content in said target image. The embodiments of the present invention are conducive to improving the variety and interestingness of a mobile terminal displaying a hidden image.
