Influence of solid-lubricant coatings and contact-surface roughness on the load distribution over the turns of threaded joints and screw transmissions

The influence of the thickness and roughness of the contacting surfaces of solid-lubricant coatings on the load distribution over the screw turns is investigated so as to improve the performance of threaded joints and screw transmissions.
