A lower limb rehabilitation motion recognition method using artificial neural network

Home-based rehabilitation program for stroke patients can be a potential alternative to conventional hospital care. However, it demands a support mechanism which can assist caregivers in carrying out the program in home settings. In this paper, a methodology for recognising the lower limb rehabilitation exercise motions is presented. This technique can assist in monitoring and managing the home-based rehabilitation training program.
