Application of Scene Simulation Teaching to the Introduction to General Practice of Medicine

Objective To compare the different teaching effects between scene simulation teaching and traditional teaching method in the introduction to general practice of medicine.Methods Totally 61 nursing undergraduates elevated from the associate bachalar degree (trial group) were taught with scene simulation instruction,while the 31 clinical undergraduates elevated from the associate bachelar degree (control group) were adopted with the traditional teaching method.Then the performance of the students were compared in terms of the scores obtained through the close-book examination.Results The performace of the students in average score,score constituent,and excellent score of "An Outline of General Practice Medicine" in the trial group was significantly better that of students in the control group(P0.001).Conclusion The scene simulation teaching is advantageous over the traditional teaching methods,and it is more effective in teaching general practice of medicine.
