The present invention provides a single phase output N N + 1 switch and inverter control MMC group method. The inverter includes a DC power supply, a capacitor bridge arm, the switching arm and N, capacitive, the series arm by a capacitor formed by the N + 1, the switch arm by the switch groups of N + 1, the first and second inductors two inductors connected in series; i-th switch group connected in series by the switching arm of the power switching unit is made of n, wherein the value of i is 1 ~ N + 1; k-th first capacitive load connected to an end of the arm k + a capacitor positive electrode, the k-th switch is connected to the other end of the load arm in the upper end of the k + 1 switch group, wherein the value of k is 1 ~ N-1; N-th one end of the load + 1 to N-th positive electrode capacitor capacitance bridge arm, the other end of the load to the lower end of the N + 1 groups of N switches switch bridge arm. The carrier phase shift inverter with PWM control, the reverse path may output N n + 1 power level of the AC voltage.
