Fragmentation of light ions at intermediate energies and inclusion of the Coulomb interaction

1987
The diffraction method is used to study the process of fragmentation of light, weakly bound ions. The role of Coulomb effects in the (d, pX) reaction at incident-deuteron energies E = 56 and 80 MeV is considered. An explanation of the dependence of the inclusive cross section of the protons on the mass number of the target nucleus is given.
