A Study of Management Information System for the Power Distribution Area Based on Intelligent Terminals

There are a series of problems in conventional management information system of power distribution area, for example, no concentrators lead to no shared data but some repeated functions and heavy workloads of operation and maintenance, and the like. In allusion to the above mentioned flaws, this paper, from the aspects of architecture of master station, intelligent terminals, and communication, mainly focuses on illustrating the need for information fusion to acquisition terminal, and then proposes implement approaches. It is designed to build a management information system for the power distribution area based on intelligent terminals, and it is expected to meet requirements of power marketing operation and power distribution. Facts show that with features of technical advancement and economic rationality, this system can serve as a reference for design and construction of intelligent electric meters reading system in the environment of smart grid. And most of all, it adapts to the development of smart grid technology under the regulate-control integration mode.
