RESULTS OF HEAT CYCLE TEST (FROM −45°C TO +60°C, 240 CYCLES) OF SPRAYED COATINGS OF ZN ZN-AL ALLOY AND AL

1986
This report introduces the study of changes of basic sprayed coating structure, by the heat cycle test (10-cycles of cooling and heating from minus 45eC to plus 6o°C), mainly of Zn which is said to have cold brittleness and of sprayed Zn, sprayed Zn-Al alloy and sprayed Al coatings for comparison, and inspection of adhesion after heat cycle test (240-cycles of cooling and heating from minus 45°C to plus 60°C) considering a practical use and of corrosion resistance of the coating by the salt spray test. The results obtained proved that all those sprayed coatings could withstand a practical use.
