The lipoma is a benign tumor of adipose cells and it is particularly rare when it’s multiple, when it comes from an uncertain pathogenesis, representing the most common mesenchymal neoplasm, appearing anywhere in the body, mainly in the subcutaneous tissue of the neck, however they are extremely rare in the oral cavity. It consists of nodular masses, moles, insidious growth and asymptomatic. Its frequency in the oral cavity represents 1% to 5% of the oral cancers. This paper aims at presenting a case report of a patient with multiple lipomas located on the bilateral edges of the tongue, treated by conservative local excision under general anesthesia. It is reported the clinical and imaging diagnosis, as well as the treatment employed and proservation.
