Construction Technology for Composite Girder across Existing Railway Line

Research purposes: The construction of works across existing railway lines takes up a significant proportion of the current railway construction in China.This paper introduces the case of construction of 32 m composite girder of Gulang River Bridge on the second line of Lanzhou-Wuwei Railway across the existing railway line to give more experiences to other similar works in construction.Research results:In the construction of composite girders of Gulang River Bridge on the second line of Lanzhou-Wuwei Railway,the corresponding construction proposal is adopted to ensure the safe,reliable and successful construction of this project.Research conclusions:The selection of construction methods,determination of construction procedures,on-site construction organization and safety control for bridges across existing lines must be standardized so as to get good effects.
