The design of the membrane unit, consisting of two caps, which are open toroidal shells coupled to the outer contour of the ring and on the inner opening with a circular plate, is considered. We consider the design scheme and asymptotic formulas that allow evaluating the stress-strain state of the main elements of the cover torus shell circular plate and rings. An example of a technique based on the strength and stiffness of the lid of the unit is given.
