Polyethylen niedriger Dichte (PE-LD, PE-LLD)

The main applications for PE-LD and PE-LLD are in the films sector. At the end of 1995, the nominal world capacity for low-density polyethylene was some 28 million t per annum. While the capacity for PE-LD has increased only slightly in the last few years, there has been a considerable expansion in PE-LLD capacity. This trend will continue over the next few years.
