Using GBT for MATLAB, version 5.1, in identification and control

The Geometric Bounding Toolbox (GBT) is a set of routines (m-files) for MATLAB which can also be used in robust modelling and control problems of industrial dynamic systems. The paper gives some simple examples of applications for robust controller settings of PID or pole placement, robust parameter tracking of time varying parameters, testing for model order reduction. Beyond the applications presented, other major application areas are in nonlinear control of linear plants under state and input constraints (D.Q. Mayne and W.S. Schroeder, 1994) and worst case dual control for use in adaptive control problems (S.M. Vers, 1995).
