Manifestările cutanate ale infecţiei cu virusul papiloma uman

2019
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a DNA virus that belongs to the Papaviridae family and there have been described more than 200 types classified into 5 categories. HPV produces proliferative lesions on the skin and mucous membranes, and the natural evolution of these lesions depends on the type of HPV infections, the way the virus is transmited, the location of the infection, as well as the immune status of the host. In this paper, we described the most common cutaneous manifestations of HPV infection: cutaneous warts and external genital warts.
