The invention discloses a +/-500 kV trapezoid-shaped linear conductor corrugated aluminum sheath optical fiber composite direct current cable which comprises a large-section trapezoid-shaped linear conductor, a conductor shield layer, an insulation layer, an insulation shield layer, an optical fiber unit, a metal reinforcing core, a semi-conductive water-blocking buffer layer, a corrugated aluminum sheath, an insulation outer protective layer and a semi-conductive layer. The large-section trapezoid-shaped linear conductor is formed by stranding a center cable core and an outer-layer trapezoid copper single filament layer by layer. According to the cross section requirements of different conductors, the outer-layer trapezoid copper single filament is formed in the mode that 1-6 layers of unequal SZ-shaped copper single filaments are stranded outside a circular copper single wire or a circular cable core formed by compacting and stranding multiple circular single wires. The large-section trapezoid-shaped linear conductor is adopted, the conductor is stable and compact in structure, has the filling coefficient not smaller than 93%, has the smaller conductor diameter compared with a compact circular conductor or split conductor under the same current-carrying capability, and the overall cable cost is greatly saved.
