The Normal Heart: Patterns for Various Functional Images Obtained from Radionuclide Gated Equilibrium Studies

1984
An increasing variety of functional images is presently available for the evaluation of dynamic cardiac studies. Most commonly these images are used in conjunction with radionuclide gated equilibrium studies. It has become increasingly apparent that a major difficulty in interpreting these images is the relative lack of detailed description of normal patterns and their variants. Knowledge about the normal pattern is also essential when trying to decide which of the functional images to use or in what combination.
