Scenario model and algorithm for distribution network reconfiguration with wind power generators embedded

A novel scenario distribution network reconfiguration model considering wind power generators (WPG) is presented in this paper. Scenario analysis is applied to describe the influences of random output from WPG through scenario selection and scenario voltage in this model. A dynamic reactive power compensation strategy is put forward to satisfy the passive reactive demand of WPG. An efficient hybrid algorithm combined physical optimization and genetic algorithm is presented for the scenario distribution network reconfiguration model. Through the no-unfeasible-coding rule in the initial population strategy, recombination strategy and eugenic strategy, individuals in the evolution always form feasible solutions. Physical optimization based on scenario voltage reduces the optimization time and the dependence of the population size. Test results verify the efficiency of the proposed model and algorithm.
