Simple myopic astigmatism correction

1994
A surgical method for the correction of simple myoptic astigmastism is described. It consists of two parallel incisions, made only on the steepest meridian. In the given examples, we can see how the parallel incisions flatten both meridians. This flattening can be as much as 1.5D of the optical defect and as much as 2 or 2.5 D by keratometry
