Organic / inorganic materials comprising complexes of a porous material

Chemical composition comprising: - a mesoporous material having pores, wherein at least 60% of the total pore volume are within a range of ± 40% of an average pore diameter, and - a scaffold comprising at least two metal atoms, at least one oxygen atom and at least one organic group wherein the organic group is bonded to at least two metal atoms, wherein the mesoporous material has a uniform pore diameter, wherein the average pore diameter about 1 nm to about 30 nm and wherein the mesoporous material has a regular pore structure.
