PROTEÇÃO DE PLANTAS Efeito de Deltametrina na Biologia de Oligonychus ilicis (McGregor) (Acari: Tetranychidae) em Laboratório

Oligonychus ilicis (McGregor) oviposition, development, fe- cundity, and survival after deltamethrin application was studied in the labora- tory. The insecticide did not affect the number of eggs laid by female on sprayed coffee (Coffea arabica L.) leaf disks. The insecticide caused delay in post- embryonary phase (larva-adult) of females in 17.4% and of males in 17.2%, length of the male development cycle in 0.7%, and affected the survival rate of males and females that was reduced up to 63.9% depending on the concentra- tion of the pyrethroid. Females descending from progenies created on discs of treated leaves showed an increase of 31.9% in oviposition.
